Alex is an awarded communications and engagement professional with more than eight years’ experience across state and federal governments, health, Aboriginal affairs, property, technology and agriculture. After working with Porter Novelli for more than five years, Alex spent three years working with the Victorian Government Treaty Branch (Department of Premier & Cabinet) and COVID-19 communications team, before returning to Porter Novelli. She has experience advising on high profile media announcements, media training and management of high-profile issues.
Arj joined Porter Novelli in 2009 and has delivered award-winning integrated, large-scale communication programs for government and organisations in education, retail, property and consumer technology over many years.
He is also skilled at preparing spokespeople for profile-building opportunities and is often called upon to manage highly-sensitive issues for organisations, including major cyber incidents.
Arj also oversees communications for the Clemenger Group and leads the Clemenger Consulting Graduate Program, a rotation-based program that is unique in the marketing and communications industry.
Calum has over 14 years’ experience in social and digital strategy with agencies in the UK and Australia.
He has led social media strategy for international and Australian brands including Nissan, ANZ, Vegemite, Origin Energy, Hungry Jack’s, SATC and Lavazza.
Calum’s passion in this space led to him launching his own social media network, Cheer Me, in 2021 after winning government funding.
Jessica joined Porter Novelli in 2016, bringing more than a decade of communications experience across the technology and B2B markets.
Representing leading Australian companies and multinational enterprises across the ANZ and APAC regions, she is skilled at navigating highly regulated business environments and managing multiple stakeholders across geographies and disciplines.

Laura joined Porter Novelli in 2021, bringing more than 17 years’ experience across the not-for-profit, corporate and government sectors. Her expertise spans corporate affairs, reputation management, crisis communications and corporate responsibility. Previous senior leadership roles at Oxfam, NAB and CARE Australia shaped Laura’s passion for helping clients to adopt and roll-out values-based communications to realise strategy, protect and enhance brand, and manage crises and reputation challenges.
Lauren has more than a decade’s experience advising technology and corporate organisations across Australia and the UK, from start-ups to major global brands. She has focused her career on reputation management programs, which now includes a specialisation in data breaches and cyber incidents since changes to the Australian Privacy Act in 2018. Lauren has advised some of Australia’s leading companies in cyber incident preparation and response, working alongside trusted legal and insurance partners to protect a brand’s reputation in the eyes of all stakeholders.
Madeleine has over a decade of experience working for Australia’s biggest brands. She is passionate about creative and insights-driven strategy, developing impactful and integrated campaigns that challenges conventional thinking.
