Porter Novelli tackles disinformation at Mumbrella Commscon
At Mumbrella CommsCon, Porter Novelli led a thought-provoking panel: Disinformation: Reclaiming the truth in a world of alternate facts. Moderated by CEO Rhys Ryan, the discussion explored the impact of misinformation across climate, energy and wildlife. Panelists Dr John Gardner (CSIRO), Dr Vanessa Pirotta (wildlife scientist) and Zoe Samios (AFR) shared insights on science communication, youth social media access, and the evolving role of journalism. The session highlighted the urgent need for clarity and connection in an era of confusion. A big thank you to our panellists and the engaged audience for driving this critical conversation forward.
