Iridescent

Under the banner of Porter Novelli’s pro-bono entity, jack+bill, the team produced a virtual reality film for The Butterfly Foundation that sought to translate the lived experience of the one million-plus Australians living with an eating disorder. The film, titled Iridescent, uses continuous three-minute 360-degree virtual reality technology with head-tracked positional audio to create a space that completely immerses the viewer. After viewing the film, people who reported feeling empathetic towards sufferers of eating disorders doubled to 82 per cent, and nearly two thirds said they would be more likely to support The Butterfly Foundation in the future.
